History

Frequently traveling across the country for work, the founders of Magis Energy Holdings noticed the lack of electricity in the provinces. While the metro grew to be brighter as the decades have gone by, far-flung areas, specifically those in Bukidnon and Samar remained unpowered by energy.

This sparked their interest in venturing into the power business. With Magis Energy Holdings established in 2019, the founders worked to fill that gap by investing in projects that provide energy sustainably.

Within a year, despite the troubles brought by the pandemic and countless typhoons, Magis Energy Holdings has successfully kicked off the construction of two hydroelectric power plants — Taft Hydro in Eastern Samar and Matuno River in Nueva Vizcaya, powering and providing livelihood to the communities in the respective areas.

In support of the global movement to minimize carbon emissions, Magis Energy Holdings plans to further expand its portfolio. With its current focus on hydro energy projects, the company works to support the global movement to minimize the effect of excessive carbon emissions.
